Segmenting in short form is cutting small pieces of wood and gluing them, to create circles, them circles are then glued vertically creating a taller vessel form. Then the vessel is turned on a lathe to make the vase completed after sanding to 600 grit. Woods vary choices are Walnut, Oak, Birch, Ash, Cherry, Maple. You can email me if you want something else like exotic woods.
Finishing is done with several coats of Friction Polish (Its a mixture of oils and shellac) to bring the vessel to a very high gloss shine. Then buffed with hard carnuba wax.
